These Terms and Conditions apply to all purchases made through this website, by placing an order, you agree to these terms.
PRICES:
All prices displayed on this website are in US dollars (USD) and do not include VAT or other taxes.
While we strive to keep our pricing accurate and up to date, some adjustments may occur due to changes in supplier costs, shipping rates, or currency fluctuations.
If a product is not in stock and a price change occurs between the time of purchase and the moment we prepare your order, we will notify you. You may then confirm the updated amount or cancel the order without penalty.
If any significant price change occurs between the time of purchase and order processing, and the item is not in stock, we will contact you before proceeding. You can then choose to confirm the updated amount or cancel the order for a full refund.
AVAILABILITY:
While we strive to keep our inventory accurate and up to date, some products may sell out unexpectedly or experience delays in restocking, especially when sourcing from international suppliers or low-volume manufacturers.
Availability times listed on product pages are estimates based on our current information.
If your order is time-sensitive, we recommend contacting us before completing the purchase to confirm lead time and availability.
BUDGETS AND PRO FORMA INVOICES:
If you need a budget estimate or a pro forma invoice for approval or internal documentation, we’ll be happy to provide one on request.
To issue such documents correctly, please include the following information:
Full name and contact details of the person responsible for the order
Billing and (if different) shipping address
Any internal reference (e.g., project name, purchase order number)
Payment method and expected timeline
We will include this data in the final invoice where applicable.
Please note: Orders processed through budget requests or pro forma invoices do not qualify for free shipping, due to the additional administrative handling required.
VAT:
This webshop does not charge VAT or sales taxes.
However, please note that your country may apply customs duties or import taxes upon delivery. These are the responsibility of the customer and vary depending on the destination.
PAYMENT CONDITIONS:
We accept the following payment methods:
– Credit or debit cards (processed securely through our checkout system)
– PayPal
– Bank transfer (available upon request)
If you wish to pay by bank transfer, please select that option at checkout (if available) or contact us directly. We’ll then provide the final amount and the appropriate bank account details.
We also offer local bank accounts in several countries. For international payments, we may apply Wise (formerly TransferWise) low conversion fees for optimal exchange rates.
SHIPPING AND DELIVERY:
Orders are shipped to the address provided during checkout.
Shipping rates are displayed before confirming the order. While we indicate estimated shipping times on most product pages, these do not guarantee delivery dates.
Please inspect the package upon delivery. If any external damage is visible (e.g. open or crushed box), notify the courier at that moment and contact us within 4 working days of receipt.
We do not ship to P.O. boxes and do not offer cash on delivery.
Failed Delivery and Returns
If delivery is unsuccessful after two attempts, or if we are unable to contact the recipient within 7 working days after the first failed attempt, the order may be cancelled.
In such cases, any shipping costs, customs clearance fees, return charges, or other expenses incurred by Lunaticoastro due to the failed delivery or return of the parcel will be deducted from the refund.
No refund will be issued until the goods have been safely returned to our facility and inspected. Once approved, refunds may take a few business days to process.
WITHDRAWAL AND REPLACEMENT:
Please inspect your order immediately upon delivery. If you notice any damage or anomaly, contact us within 4 working days from receipt of the parcel. We will do our best to resolve the issue promptly at no additional cost.
If you are not fully satisfied with your purchase, you may return the item within 7 calendar days of delivery. You may request a refund or exchange it for another item. Refunds will be processed using the original payment method.
Important: If the order included free or discounted shipping, the original shipping cost paid by us will be deducted from the refund. Additionally, any payment processing fees or costs related to the selected payment method are non-refundable.
To be eligible for return, all products must be in perfect condition , with original packaging, and include all manuals, accessories, warranty cards, and any unopened bags or seals, if applicable.
Before sending any product back, you must request authorisation from us. Unauthorised returns may not be accepted.
If the returned item does not meet the above conditions, we may return it to you and charge you for the shipping costs.
Returns are not accepted for products made or customised on demand, or for items that by their nature are not suitable for return (e.g., software or digital goods).
Customers are responsible for thoroughly preparing return shipments to avoid damage during transport. Products must be returned securely packed inside another parcel. We do not accept returns if the packaging is inadequate.
WARRANTY OF THE PRODUCTS AND GOODS:
Products and goods purchased through this store are covered by a 1-year limited warranty, provided either by the manufacturer or by Lunatico Astronomía S.L. This warranty applies to all new durable consumer goods sold through this website, unless a longer period is expressly stated for a specific product.
The warranty covers manufacturing defects only and includes, at our discretion, repair or replacement of the faulty product. It does not cover damage caused by improper use, modification, normal wear and tear, accidents, misuse, or acts of nature.
To request service under warranty, the customer must present the original purchase invoice. No other documentation is required.
If you need to send a product for inspection or repair, please contact us first to obtain an RMA (Return Merchandise Authorisation) number and instructions for return shipment. Unauthorised returns may not be accepted.
We do not guarantee the availability of spare parts after the warranty period unless explicitly offered.
RESPONSABILITY:
LUNATICO ASTRONOMÍA S. L. shall not be held liable for any direct or indirect loss or damage caused to the customer or third parties arising from the use or misuse of the products supplied, nor for improper installation or failure to follow the instructions provided.
In no event shall our liability exceed the purchase price of the product. This limitation of liability applies to all claims, including but not limited to, loss of data, loss of profit, or interruption of business.
The customer is responsible for ensuring that the product is suitable for the intended purpose and for using it in accordance with local regulations and safety standards.
To make a warranty claim, the customer must provide the original purchase invoice. No other documentation is required.
RATES AND DELIVERY TIME:
Most orders above 300 € will be shipped free of charge worldwide, using registered mail or courier service.
Please note: This free shipping policy does not apply to orders processed via pro forma invoice, budget request, or custom quotation, due to the additional handling involved.
Heavy or very big items are not covered by this free shipping policy and will be quoted upon customer request. For certain destinations, all shipments should be insured; in this case, the cost of insurance will be covered by the customer. In case the customer does not wish to pay the insurance, the shipment will be made under his complete responsibility.
